Packing Operative

Overview
Our client, a well-established manufacturer within the confectionery sector, is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packing Operatives to support high-volume production operations. This role sits within a fast-paced food production environment, where maintaining product quality, hygiene standards, and efficiency is critical.

You will play a key role in the final stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring finished goods are correctly packed, labelled, and prepared for distribution in line with strict quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing finished confectionery products in line with production targets
• Conducting visual quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Labelling and sealing packaging accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations
• Supporting production line operations and working collaboratively with team members
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
• Reporting any faults, defects, or inconsistencies to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or food production environment is advantageous but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Good level of manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early, late, or weekend patterns if required
