Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting our client in the appointment of a TEKLA Draughtsman.

The Role As a TEKLA Draughtsman, you will play a key role within the engineering team, supporting the delivery of detailed mechanical and structural designs. You will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models, drawings and associated documentation, ensuring all outputs meet required specifications and industry standards.
This role would suit a detail-driven individual with strong technical capability, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple engineering challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Produce detailed 3D models, engineering drawings and bills of materials using TEKLA and associated CAD systems
- Interpret specifications, sketches, datasheets and verbal instructions to develop accurate design outputs
- Create and maintain parts, assemblies and associated documentation
- Work collaboratively with engineering and wider departments to ensure accuracy and consistency of drawings
- Ensure all designs are compliant with ISO standards and internal quality procedures
- Follow company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies at all times
- Support continuous improvement by efficiently utilising CAD systems to generate product variations
- Undertake additional duties as required to support project delivery
What We're Looking For - Proven experience in 3D structural modelling using TEKLA (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD (essential)
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor/Vault (desirable)
- Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings to ISO standards
- HNC/HND in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Practical understanding of mechanical systems (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
