We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to support operations at a COMAH-regulated chemical manufacturing facility.
  
This role focuses on electrical maintenance and reliability within a hazardous area environment, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fault finding and maintenance on LV electrical systems including motors, MCCs, and switchgear
  • Inspection, maintenance, and installation of Ex-rated equipment
  • Support planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown activities
  • Interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Work in line with permit-to-work and LOTO procedures
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • CompEx EX01–EX04 certification (essential)
  • Proven experience in hazardous area environments (ATEX/COMAH)
  • Strong industrial electrical maintenance background
  • Experience within chemical, oil & gas, or energy sectors
This is an opportunity to work within a technically demanding and safety-critical environment on a short-term contract.
