We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technical Support Manager (Service & Maintenance) to lead engineering, maintenance, and asset integrity functions across our client’s operations in Kuwait. 

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, lifecycle asset management, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives while aligning technical operations with long-term business growth and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute Technical Support Services strategy aligned with corporate objectives
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and enterprise asset management system optimisation (e.g. SAP EAM, Maximo)
  • Oversee design control management processes to ensure compliant and efficient execution of engineering projects
Engineering & Technical Support
  • Provide high-level expertise in design, troubleshooting, and process optimisation
  • Oversee design, installation, commissioning, and optimisation of manufacturing units
  • Ensure robust engineering governance across projects and product development
  • Support process safety, ESG initiatives, and technology innovation programmes
Maintenance & Reliability
  • Develop predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to maximise uptime
  • Lead major equipment upgrade and lifecycle management programmes
  • Standardise maintenance practices using Lean tools and Six Sigma controls
  • Optimise maintenance costs while ensuring safety and reliability
Asset Integrity & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (API, ISO, ASME, OSHA) and local regulations
  • Implement risk-based inspection and asset lifecycle integrity strategies
  • Lead governance for HSE assurance and regulatory audits
  • Promote sustainability through proactive asset planning and upgrades
People & Governance
  • Lead and mentor division managers, building a high-performance technical team
  • Embed continuous improvement culture across departments
  • Manage budgets, CAPEX planning, and major expansion projects
  • Present reliability, compliance, and engineering reports to executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong expertise in enterprise asset management systems (SAP EAM, Maximo, or equivalent)
  • Proven leadership in design control management, equipment upgrades, and manufacturing unit establishment
  • Lean & Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of API, ISO, ASME, OSHA, and local regulatory standards
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives in industrial/manufacturing environments
