Reach Stacker Operator

Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting a well-established client in the recruitment of an experienced Reach Stacker Operator to join their busy operation.
 
The Role
You will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of a high-volume container terminal, working within a regulated environment handling bulk chemicals in isotanks.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach stacker/container lifter to move, stack and position containers and isotanks.
• Work in full compliance with emergency procedures and site-specific safety requirements.
• Complete daily equipment and safety checks using company systems and digital applications.
• Participate in safety walk-rounds and audits.
• Accurately complete all associated paperwork, including templates and interchange documentation.
• Adhere strictly to terminal safety procedures, traffic management rules, and operating processes.
• Carry out safe liner removal and fitting in bulk containers in preparation for customer use.
• Remove garment rails and other container fittings to return units to general-purpose specification.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the terminal.
• Report all faults, damage, incidents and near misses promptly to supervision.

About You

• Hold a valid Reach Stacker licence or have demonstrable operating experience.
• Strong awareness of health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Confident completing basic documentation and using digital systems.
• Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to overtime and weekend work when required.
