Repack Operative

Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of a Repack Operator to join their Warehouse team on a temporary basis for an initial 6-month period.

This role will be based at the Aycliffe site and will involve repacking powders and solutions, decanting materials from larger containers into smaller units in line with site procedures and safety standards.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Initially days only for approximately two weeks: 08:00 – 16:30
Thereafter moving onto a 24/5 shift pattern, working one shift per week:

• 06:00 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:00
• 22:00 – 06:00

Key Responsibilities

• Operate repacking plant in accordance with standard operating procedures and Company SHE standards.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient repacking operations that meet quality and volume requirements.
• Adhere to all Company SHE rules and behaviours to protect yourself and others on site.
• Identify and resolve operational issues within your level of competence, escalating where necessary.
• Prepare and decontaminate equipment for maintenance activities.
• Accurately report defects using the site reporting system.
• Maintain compliance with all training requirements to support flexibility within the Warehouse team.
• Support team-based projects, visible factory standards, and incident investigations.
• Complete accurate and timely shift handovers in line with company standards.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

• In-date Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous warehouse experience (chemical or similar environments desirable).
• Good understanding of manual handling techniques.
• A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow established procedures.

Desirable:

• Experience working within a chemical packing or repacking environment.
• Previous experience working rotating shift patterns.
• GCSE Maths and Science (or equivalent).
