FLT Warehouse Operative

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Shift Pattern: Day Shift (with flexibility as required)
Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting our client with the recruitment of an experienced FLT Driver to join their busy warehouse and logistics operation in Teesside.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, well-organised environment, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to be part of a close-knit and professional team.
 
The Role
As an FLT Driver, you will play a key part in the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods within the warehouse. You'll support daily operations to ensure stock accuracy, timely dispatch, and a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse
• Load and unload deliveries in line with site procedures
• Pick, palletise, and prepare goods for dispatch
• Accurately receive, check, and book in stock
• Maintain accurate records and update warehouse systems
• Carry out stock checks, cycle counts, and support audits
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety
• Comply fully with Health & Safety regulations and company policies
• Support wider warehouse tasks as required

About You

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety best practice
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Flexible approach to work and willing to support operational demands
• Basic IT skills for stock systems and documentation (desirable)
