Wolviston Management Services are supporting our client in the search for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their established precision engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served machinist with a strong turning background and programming ability to join a forward-thinking business working across a range of bespoke engineering projects.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Working from detailed engineering drawings to produce high-quality precision components.
• Programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to meet production schedules and customer specifications.
• Operating primarily on turning operations, with milling experience being highly advantageous.
• Programming and running Doosan Puma 400 and 700 machines (experience highly desirable).
• Operating and setting Haas machinery, including ST30, VF2 and Super Mini Mill models.
• Utilising Mazatrol programming systems where applicable.
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality standards, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
• Supporting a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

What We're Looking For

• Time-served CNC Machinist with proven experience in precision engineering.
• Strong turning bias, with confidence in milling operations.
• Demonstrable experience programming, setting and running Doosan Puma and/or Haas machinery.
• Knowledge of Mazatrol controls would be advantageous.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high production standards.
