We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their structural steel operation on backshifts.

Following a successful 12-week period through Wolviston Management Services, the successful candidate will transfer to a permanent contract with our client from the 13th week onward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating CNC machines such as Peddinghaus, Voortman, and Kaltenbach
  • Setting up machines and loading structural steel sections
  • Reading technical drawings and CNC programs
  • Operating overhead cranes for safe movement of materials
  • Adhering to strict HSE standards and quality requirements
Requirements:
  • Previous CNC machining experience in a structural steel or heavy fabrication environment preferred
  • Familiarity with CNC beamline or steel drilling/sawing equipment
  • Ability to work backshifts and commit to regular overtime
  • Overhead crane experience preferred
