About the Role
Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting our client in the search for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to join their high-performing logistics team.
This role involves straight forward trunk runs from depot to depot some handballing may be involved but minimum, making it ideal for drivers who value reliability, professional driving, and being part of a well-organised operation.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out depot-to-depot trunk runs in line with route schedules.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate driver records in line with DVSA regulations.
• Operate in compliance with all Health & Safety, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.
• Communicate effectively with transport teams and depot staff to ensure smooth operations.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points
• NO DD, DR, or IN10 licence endorsements
• Strong knowledge of road networks and driving regulations.
• A professional approach, with good communication and reliability.
• Previous trunking or general haulage experience preferred, though not essential.
