Mechanical Estimator

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mechanical Estimator to join a growing engineering team working across industrial, building services, and renewable energy projects.
  
This role is ideal for graduate engineers or experienced site professionals looking to move into an office-based commercial estimating role.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and tender packages for mechanical services
• Interpret technical drawings for HVAC, pipework, and plumbing systems
• Engage with suppliers to source equipment and pricing
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers on integrated solutions
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations including Part L and CIBSE

  
Requirements:

• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pipework, and sustainable technologies
• Experience using AutoCAD and design tools
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
