Electrical Estimator

Location: Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire

Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Electrical Estimator to support a diverse range of projects, from industrial and commercial installations to renewable energy systems including solar PV, EV charging, and battery storage.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications for pricing
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy
  • Support project planning and value engineering exercises
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND, degree, or trade background in Electrical Engineering
  • Familiar with UK regulations (BS 7671) and sustainability standards
  • Estimating experience in E&I works; renewables experience advantageous
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and design software
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
