Mechanical HVAC Technician

Location: Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire

Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Mechanical / HVAC Technician with experience in industrial environments. This role involves maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and plant utilities.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and maintenance of HVAC systems: chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, boilers.
  • Mechanical fault diagnosis on pumps, compressors, piping, and valves.
  • Preventive maintenance and use of diagnostic tools.
  • Operating and interpreting data from Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical documentation.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.
  • Proven industry experience in mechanical/HVAC systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Valid UK driver’s licence.
