We're Hiring: Operational Purchaser (6-Month Contract) – South Holland, Netherlands 
Full-Time | Interior Construction | Yacht & Shipbuilding Sector
Are you an experienced Buyer with a passion for interiors and a sharp eye for supply chain optimization? Join our dynamic team in the South of Holland for a 6-month full-time contract and help us take our Purchasing Department to the next level.
�� About the Role
As our Operational Purchaser, you'll play a key role in streamlining our procurement process for interior construction and yacht/shipbuilding projects. You'll work closely with the general manager and multiple departments to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective sourcing from both local and international suppliers.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft procurement specifications and advise on new materials/products.
  • Source and evaluate materials and services from domestic and global markets.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery times, and supplier terms.
  • Assess and visit suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Select suppliers based on technical, quality, and commercial criteria.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance.
  • Drive process improvement in purchasing operations.
  • Provide detailed reporting and insights to management.
What We’re Looking For
  • MBO Level 4 education (preferably HMC or technical direction).
  • Strong affinity with interior construction, yacht or shipbuilding.
  • Proven experience in a similar buyer role, preferably in interior projects.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, written and spoken.
  • NEVI-1 diploma (a plus).
  • VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
