Health And Safety Manager

Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting our client in the recruitment of a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to lead the development and delivery of robust HS&E strategies across their operations.

This is a key leadership role within a forward-thinking organisation, focused on maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive working environment. We’re looking for a confident professional with a passion for continuous improvement and a strong working knowledge of industrial HS&E practices.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Investigate incidents thoroughly, undertaking root cause analysis and recommending preventative measures.
• Deliver effective training programmes on health, safety, and first aid, ensuring all teams are competent and informed.
• Maintain accurate records of HS&E activities including audits, reports, and training.
• Monitor environmental compliance and drive sustainability initiatives across the business.
• Act as the key liaison with external regulatory bodies and support internal teams with SHE best practice.

About You:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential.
• Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of SHE tools, improvement methodologies, and process analysis.
• Confident communicator with excellent report writing and organisational skills.
• First Aid qualification (or willingness to achieve).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
