Welding Technical Coordinator

We are recruiting a Welding Technical Coordinator to join our client on a permanent basis, based at Bridgwater, Somerset. Competitive Salary, with accommodation, travel and disturbance allowance paid.
  
Responsibilities:

• Inputting welding data from the weld procedure specifications, the site technical schedule and engineering drawings
• Generating and issuing weld process control cards for site welding activities, including heat treatment and NDT
• Contribute to the completion of site welding quality records
• Create a TQS, weld IDs and work orders
• Maintain welding records and work files

  
Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent along with CITB HS&E test
• Proven track record in large scale Installation of complex, multi-discipline projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector
• Experience of welding related activities, inspections (visual and NDT) and quality control
