Warehouse Operator

Hiring a temporary Warehouse Operator for our client’s chemical manufacturing plant at Newton Aycliffe, to initially work daytimes (08:00 – 16:00) then potentially shifts, in a temporary role, with some opportunity for a permanent position.
  
You will be:
  

• Directing drivers to loading bays after ensuring they have the correct paperwork, and their vehicles meet contamination/cleanliness guidelines
• Quality checking and organising all materials for dispatch, inspection and loading, alongside the Logistics Co-Ordinator
• Checking and controlling stock
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in all areas

  
You will be a good communicator with strong literacy, numeracy and IT skill, with:
  

• An FLT Counterbalance Licence (and ideally Bendi, though training can be provided)
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to work as part of a team, with good analysing and problem-solving skills, an open approach to change, and willingness to listen and get thing right
• NVQ 3 (desirable)
