Mechanical Planner

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mechanical Planner to join a long-term maintenance project, with involvement in small turnarounds. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both the Wilton and North Tees sites, applying technical expertise in mechanical and piping disciplines.
  
This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive wage.
  
You will be:
  

• Working on a long-term maintenance project and small turnarounds
• Understanding and translating specifications accurately
• Reading and interpreting P&ID’s, isometric drawings, and mechanical equipment drawings
• Carrying out mechanical job stepping with precision
• Applying estimates to job tasks and steps

You will need:
  

• A strong mechanical and piping background
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with mechanical job stepping
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable with Microsoft Office proficiency essential
• Previous experience in applying estimates to job tasks/steps
